Yes! It's true I have finally updated my web page.  I will work really hard to keep it updated this year.  I have acquired a new computer and access to a digital camera so this should help out my cause.

     I have also signed on with Dagger for the 2000 season.  I am excited about padling the new CENTRIFUGE and AFTERSHOCK.  Competition will definately be hot this season.  I can't wait for the tour!

     New Zealand was the bomb.  Team USA C-1 managed to buy two cars the "Blue Bomber" and the "White Animal" for $400.00.  Yes its true $400.00.  We rallied all over the North Island checking out world renowned surf sports like Ragland which was featured in Endless Summer, Mt Maganui and some great local rivers. 

     One highlight of the trip was running the Kituna with Eli, Tom and Chip all in their Superfly's and getting to watch each of them huck a beautiful 18 footer New Zealand style.  All three had really styling lines.

     The World Championships were one of the toughest competitions I have ever competed in.  Four days of competition with the intensity increasing exponentially every day.  I feel very lucky having been a part of it.  Team USA C-1 competed well, however our overall consistency hurt us.  Not to worry, the C-1 Revolution will continue;  NEXT STOP: SPAIN & 2000 PRE-WORLDS!
